Data Center Technician - Madison, NC

The Data Center Technician’s responsibilities

• Maintaining the data center’s IT system
• Tracing issues and troubleshooting
• Installing and configuring data center infrastructure
• Monitoring system performance and conducting regular maintenance
• Ensuring efficient operation of HVAC systems
• Performing routine network maintenance tasks
• Ensuring consistent and reliable power supply
• Completing and storing data backups correctly
• Assisting with disaster recovery operations
• Documenting procedures, systems, and network configurations
• Complying with and maintaining security standards
• Communicating regularly with other IT staff and management

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• May require technical certification or an Associate Degree
• Generally 2-4+ years’ experience in the area of responsibility
• MUST BE WILLING TO BE ONSITE 5 DAYS A WEEK IN LOCATION
