Data Center Technician / Level 1 / West Memphis, AR

You'll work alongside experienced technicians and project teams supporting high-profile data center environments while gaining exposure to fiber optics, structured cabling, rack installations, and deployment best practices.

Responsibilities

• Work in commercial construction and data center environments
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Install and label telecommunications cabling according to project requirements
• Support pathway installations including conduit, innerduct, J-hooks, and ladder rack systems
• Perform basic cable testing and continuity verification
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with project teams and supervisors
• Travel to customer sites as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work in commercial construction and data center environments
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Basic computer and mobile device proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders, work overhead, and perform physical installation activities
• Ability to travel as required
• Telecommunications, low-voltage, structured cabling, electrical, or construction experience
• Experience pulling fiber optic, coaxial, and CAT5e/CAT6 cabling
• Familiarity with data center environments
• Experience reading construction drawings and floor plans
• Understanding of cable labeling and routing standards
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Scissor lift or boom lift certification
