Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I
What’s the Job?
Manage on-site shift technicians, senior shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance.
Coincide with IT managers and business leaders to manage projects, capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, and building monitoring systems.
Aid in the design and construction of new facilities and projects to improve current facility efficiency.
What’s Needed?
- Computer proficiency, MS Office
- Team-oriented attitude
- Data center experience: 0-2 years
- Electrical and mechanical experience: 1+ years
