Data Center Services Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

About the role

The Data Center Services Mechanical Commissioning Engineer is responsible for ensuring that mechanical systems in data centers are properly installed and functioning according to design specifications. This role involves commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Commission, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Ensure all systems meet design specifications and comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience with commissioning and testing of HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for mechanical systems in data centers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience with commissioning tools and software.
• Understanding of data center operations and requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
