Data Center Security Specialist, CMH-Hilliard Security
About the role
AWS is growing rapidly and is seeking a Data Center Security Specialist to join the Infrastructure Operations team. This role will manage and improve site security operations in our data centers.
Responsibilities
- Manage physical security operations, develop post orders, define security procedures, handle site incidents, work with security equipment, participate in construction projects, and drive day-to-day process improvement activities.
- Ensure consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures, participate in re-occurring site audits and reviews, and test new security technologies.
Requirements
Must have and demonstrate resilient leadership skills, flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, exceptional knowledge of security practices, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Skills
Must have 1+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, or data center operations experience, or experience in professional or military IT-related roles.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors experience.
- 2+ years of Microsoft Office tools experience.
- Experience with access control and CCTV systems.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $28.00 - $50.00 per hour.
