Data Center Project Manager *
About the role
HDR is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to join one of the largest, fastest-growing, and comprehensive TMT practices in the industry. Opportunities are available in preferred locations across the US and UK.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver data center and mission-critical projects from upfront planning to completion.
- Develop and secure work from a robust global client base.
- Manage multi-disciplinary design teams from project conception to completion.
- Mentor and manage a team to promote career growth, client satisfaction, and act as a safety net.
- Coordinate workload through the entire project development to complete documents on schedule.
- Mission-critical staff recruiting and retention.
- Establish client relations and participate in marketing, design, and production meetings.
- Promote HDR through regular client interface.
- Collaborate on development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, and production methods and standards.
- Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards.
- Control project quality, schedule, scope, and budget.
- Create vital proposal content including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Aid in HDR interviews and presentations.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Some travel to job sites or other HDR offices may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in site programming, project planning, design, construction, or commissioning.
- Previous Data Center/Mission Critical experience in an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
- Strong desire to stay current with industry trends.
- Working knowledge of Uptime Topology standards, ASHRAE TC 9.9, and ISO standards regarding PUE, CUE, and WUE.
- Working knowledge of Newforma Project Center and/or ProjectWise Document Management Software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong motivation and professional initiative.
- Focused on client outcomes.
- Working knowledge of current industry standards.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 7 years related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
- Ability to interact with various design teams.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. The targeted salary range for this position (based on experience and location) is $110,950 - $206,050 (New Jersey): $95,000 - $198,125.
