This Senior Project Manager, Data Center Project Leader will lead a team and provide project management Owner's representative services for the development of large data centers and other mission-critical projects. This is a hybrid role requiring presence at clients' offices or project sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of project management for large data center and mission-critical projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Work directly with clients to define scope of work, project delivery resources, cost estimates, budgets, schedules, quality control, and risk identification.
- Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through project qualification processes, including conducting RFPs, bid evaluations, and recommending resources.
- Facilitate the development of a project charter and integrated timeline.
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, resolving or escalating issues as needed.
- Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
- Collaborate to develop and implement solutions, guiding the project team through completion.
- Apply advanced knowledge to improve methods for achieving individual and department objectives.
- Coach team members to develop expertise across the function.
- Lead by example, modeling company values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).
- Anticipate objections and persuade stakeholders, including senior leaders, to adopt new perspectives.
- Impact customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.
- Communicate complex ideas effectively to influence outcomes.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 8+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience and education will be considered.
- Experience with design, construction, and delivery of mission-critical environments is strongly desired.
- Prior experience with commercial real estate projects and demanding clients is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with MS Project or similar project management software.
- Proven track record of leading successful teams and projects in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions with broad business impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an advanced inquisitive mentality.
Pay
Salary range: $145,000 – $175,000 annually, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s benefit program.
