This is a high-level executive role responsible for the strategic leadership and delivery of the project management portfolio within a designated region or global account. The role oversees the entire project lifecycle for mission-critical facilities, ensuring that all data center construction, retrofits, and technical upgrades are executed with operational excellence.

About the Role

As a CBRE Project Management Sr. Manager, you’ll manage a team responsible for providing advanced management services to achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This role is part of the Project Management function and is responsible for managing projects from initiation through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching.
  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, including setting work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff.
  • Set and track staff and department deadlines; mentor and coach as needed.
  • Oversee all phases of project management, including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, and execution.
  • Ensure contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Monitor billing, accounts receivable collection, expense monitoring and control, staffing, and full P&L to EBITDA.
  • Work cross-functionally with other business lines to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
  • Identify complex project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
  • Apply broad knowledge of the business and how your discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Influence others to adopt different points of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
  • Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity; understand and recognize broader impacts across the department.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on multiple job disciplines and the department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Pay

The minimum salary for this position is $240,000 annually, and the maximum salary is $268,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
