About the role
The Data Center Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center facility, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all systems and equipment. This includes managing the team responsible for maintaining and upgrading hardware and software infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of data center facilities, including power distribution units, cooling systems, and network infrastructure.
- Manage a team of IT professionals to ensure efficient and effective execution of tasks related to data center operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve data center efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to data centers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and optimize processes within the data center environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations or IT management.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of IT professionals.
- Experience with data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network management.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for data center operations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
