Data Center Low Voltage Technician - Wisconsin

Kidwell is seeking highly motivated individuals to join as Mission Critical (Data Center) Low Voltage Technicians in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. After an initial commitment, candidates must be willing to travel to other Data Center locations. These individuals should be team-oriented, detail-focused, and bring a positive, honest approach to their work. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as you will represent Kidwell directly on job sites and with customers.

About the Role

In this role, you will assist and report to the Senior Cabling Technician in the installation and diagnostic maintenance of premises cabling equipment according to contract and customer needs. You will work with Telecommunications Technicians and installers on projects as needed, ensuring every interaction reflects a high-quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper or fiber optic low voltage cabling systems.
• Assist with installation of cable trays, racks, and other support structures.
• Perform grounding and bonding as required.
• Install network switches.
• Learn and retain a basic working knowledge of company sales products.

Requirements

• BICSI Technician accreditation or equivalent, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Current State of Apprentice License or willingness to apply for one upon employment.
