About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Data center Logistics Specialist positions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to Safety & Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
  • Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data center Technicians and Engineers.
  • Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations.
  • Ensure all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated, and ready for processing.
  • Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations.
  • Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all work spaces.
  • Work weekends as required.

Requirements

  • Experience as a logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, maintenance, stock control functions and reverse logistics.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory management software.
  • Familiarity with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies.
  • Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems.

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Schedule

Logistics Specialists will be required to work weekend shift work.
