Perform logistics duties within a data center including inventory management, asset management, and data management. The role is responsible for execution and prioritization of daily operational activities, completion of tasks within SLA and quality standards, and maintenance of high productivity while balancing accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities
- Complete the role and responsibility of a Data Center Specialist
- Adjust workflows and priorities to meet operational demands
- Communicate and delegate workload changes within scope of responsibility to hit tasks within SLA and quality standards
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies within defined thresholds
- Ensure proper tracking, labeling, and chain of custody of inventory
- Identify and enforce adherence to established SOPs, safety protocols, and handling guidelines
- Support audit readiness and corrective actions
- Communicate risks to SLA performance early and clearly
- Assist with identifying root causes of errors, delays, or process breakdowns
- Take immediate corrective actions within authority
- Use escalation pathways appropriately for complex issues
- Provide timely, accurate updates to stakeholders
- Support seamless workflow handoffs
- Support implementation of new workflows, tools, or layouts
- Share and communicate best practices across shifts or teams
- Identify and escalate safety risks or hazards immediately
- Participate in safety initiatives and reporting
- Demonstrate reliability and consistency in performance
- Manage inventory control, asset tracking, and data management throughout the asset lifecycle, including receiving, shipping, staging, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and decommissioning of servers, networking equipment, cables, and related components
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Material Handling Equipment (MHE), and Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJ) to maintain operational readiness and asset integrity
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Previous experience in a data center, logistics, warehousing, or team leadership environment is preferred
- Ability to utilize computer systems

- Experience in inventory management, picking and packing, RMA processing, equipment handling, and data center operations
Pay
$27.80 per hour
Schedule
- Shift: 1st Shift
- Shift Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (Subject to change)
- Shift Days: Monday – Friday
