Data Center IT Technician

We are hiring trainable Level 1 Technicians with experience working in physically demanding environments. Work ethic and attitude are the primary focus, as this role involves working at a data center. Dependability and attendance are crucial.

About the role

This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire position based in Ridgeville, SC. You must be able to work 10-hour days outside in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label, and port equipment
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians
• Work on ladders and lifts

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Hands-on electrical or military experience is highly valued

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
