Data Center Infrastructure Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to support the planning, expansion, modernization, and resiliency of mission-critical data center facilities. This role is focused on the physical infrastructure of the data center, including electrical, mechanical, power, and cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have direct experience helping determine how data center infrastructure is designed, implemented, expanded, commissioned, and optimized. This is not a data center operations role; we are seeking engineers who have contributed to infrastructure development and engineering decisions rather than primarily operating or maintaining infrastructure after deployment. This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX and is a hybrid role in Plano, TX.

- Capacity & Reliability Planning: Perform power, cooling, and space capacity planning; develop infrastructure models to support future growth and expansion initiatives; conduct resiliency, redundancy, and failover assessments.
- Commissioning & Testing: Lead or participate in commissioning activities and integrated systems testing; validate infrastructure readiness and ensure system performance meets design standards; support acceptance testing for new construction and infrastructure upgrades.
- Incident Analysis & Optimization: Perform root cause analysis for critical infrastructure failures; develop and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and performance; leverage DCIM, telemetry, and engineering metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
