Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee electrical installations on data center construction projects.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Cook up coordination with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and other trades.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and apprentices.
- Conduct quality control inspections and verify workmanship standards.
- Assist with commissioning and startup activities.
- Identify and resolve electrical installation issues in the field.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.
- Support project schedules and productivity goals.
- Participate in customer meetings and project planning discussions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona Electrician's license.
- 10+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Experience working on data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial plants, or large commercial projects.
- A thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- A strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- A willingness to travel nationwide.
- An OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
- Experience with medium-voltage systems, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and critical power infrastructure.
- Experience supporting commissioning activities.
- Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman or superintendent.
- NFPA 70E training and knowledge of electrical safety standards.
