Data Center Electrician- Master Electrician

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee electrical installations on data center construction projects.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with national, state, and local electrical codes.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
  • Cook up coordination with project managers, superintendents, foremen, and other trades.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to electricians and apprentices.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and verify workmanship standards.
  • Assist with commissioning and startup activities.
  • Identify and resolve electrical installation issues in the field.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance.
  • Support project schedules and productivity goals.
  • Participate in customer meetings and project planning discussions as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Electrician's license.
  • 10+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
  • Experience working on data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial plants, or large commercial projects.
  • A thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • A strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • A willingness to travel nationwide.
  • An OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hyperscale or colocation data center projects.
  • Experience with medium-voltage systems, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and critical power infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting commissioning activities.
  • Previous experience leading crews or serving as a foreman or superintendent.
  • NFPA 70E training and knowledge of electrical safety standards.
