Data Center Electrical Team Lead

As a Data Center Team Leader, you will lead specialized technical operations, leveraging deep, hands-on data center experience to protect clients' most valuable digital assets. Your expertise in complex infrastructure—such as cooling systems, redundant power supplies, and strict uptime requirements—will maintain our industry-leading operational standards. You will oversee skilled engineering teams and manage complex vendor networks in critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff to ensure completeness, functionality, and client space readiness.
- Review monthly service request summaries to identify and address recurrent operational problems.
- Formulate and implement a preventative maintenance program to extend the life of building machinery and systems.
- Inspect building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing, to ensure equipment operates within design capabilities and meets client environmental conditions.
- Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials for repairs, and maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
- Assist the team with complex repairs, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
- Apply advanced knowledge to develop improved methods for achieving individual and department objectives.
- Demonstrate expertise in your discipline and in-depth knowledge of related job functions within the organization.
- Coach others to develop expertise across multiple areas within the function.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. A combination of experience and education may substitute for a diploma.
- Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
- Meet physical requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Willingness to challenge existing solutions and explore new approaches.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills for calculating percentages, fractions, and financial-related figures.
- Ability to impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within and across teams.
- Capability to work within broad guidelines and policies.
- Proficiency in coaching others and sharing in-depth knowledge of your discipline and related functions.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 annually ($36.06 to $43.27 per hour), depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
