About the role
The Role: Data Center Construction Manager
What You’ll Do
- Lead onsite construction execution for assigned data center projects
- Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce site safety standards
- Conduct regular site walks to identify risks, quality issues, and corrective actions
- Manage project schedules and address delays before they affect milestones
- Track project costs and support cost control with contractors and internal teams
- Coverage with design, engineering, operations, networking, security, controls, supply chain, and commissioning partners
- Provide constructability input during design and active construction
- Support logistics planning and equipment deliveries
- Identify project risks early and implement mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permits
- Deliver accurate weekly and monthly project updates to leadership
- Partner with the Senior Construction Manager to support site execution and reporting

Required
- 5+ years of experience in data center construction or complex commercial construction
- Working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and field coordination
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, and contractor performance
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using construction management software such as Procore
PREFERRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Familiarity with critical data center systems and infrastructure
- Exposure to CAD or 3D modeling tools
