About the role

As a Data Center Commissioning Project Manager (Cx PM), you will work with project teams at client sites to inspect, test, and troubleshoot data center and building commissioning facilities and equipment. You will identify and coordinate commissioning activities, prepare reports, and serve as the primary point of contact with client personnel and the Regional Manager. The role involves both executing and overseeing the work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning and qualification activities for data center projects.
  • Manage large-scale projects (minimum 4 megawatts) and facilities.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors in the construction industry.
  • Develop and execute commissioning plans, test scripts, schedules, budgets, change orders, and summary reports.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams with full commissioning responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in commissioning and qualification within the Data Center industry.
  • Experience leading large projects (minimum 4 megawatts).
  • Comfort working in the construction industry, including managing vendors, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Experience with commissioning plans, test scripts, schedules, budgets, change orders, and summary reports.
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams with full commissioning responsibility.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Ability to work paid overtime.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
