Data and Billing Coordinator - Pediatric Clinic

Responsibilities

• Gathers, reviews, and approves internal billing claims.
• Sets up, verifies, and updates insurance account information.
• Verifies eligibility for insurance claims.
• Prepares related billing claims data reports.
• Collaborates with LA County-Dept. of Mental Health (LAC-DMH) and Medi-Cal.
• Tracks and monitors billing claims and approvals.
• Provides monthly report analysis to Department Director.
• Aids in the preparation of year-end final reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (HER) systems.
• Working knowledge of Medi-Cal and/or third-party billing and reimbursement.
• Knowledge of billing requirements and collection regulations for Federal, State, and local agencies and third-party submissions.

Pay

Competitive compensation with a reasonable estimate of $29.96 per hour. Exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection.
