Where We Need You Ohio EPA wants you to serve in this role within the Division of Surface Water (DSW) at our Central Office in Columbus, Ohio. Why We Need You Ohio EPA is looking for a detail-oriented, knowledgeable team player to help protect Ohio’s water resources through efficient data management and meaningful cross‑agency collaboration. What You’ll Do You’ll work hands-on with our biological and water-quality databases to organize, manage, and extract relevant data to support the division’s programs. You’ll build SQL‑based reports and data visualizations to support program performance, identify trends to guide decision-making, and maintain our reference data libraries. You’ll be the go-to person for data requests and trend analysis and provide support and training to system users and staff. With a goal of continuous improvements, you’ll act as lead for special projects that increase program efficiency, and collaborate with contractors, IT teams, and staff to enhance and strengthen our information systems. You’ll also represent the agency at conferences, workgroups, and technical meetings and speak to the public and interested parties on surface water information technology.
