Data Analytics Consultant - Reporting Modernization

About the Role

Join our team as a Data Analytics Consultant leading the strategic modernization of legacy reporting systems onto the Microsoft Power Platform. In this role, you will lead the migration of existing WebFOCUS reports and self-service portals into dynamic Power BI dashboards, Power Apps portals, and automated workflows. You will also help shape scalable, reusable reporting solutions as our environment expands into AI-based analytics, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing WebFOCUS reporting offerings, ReportCaster distribution jobs, and self-service portals to Power BI and Power Apps solutions.
• Design and build scalable Power BI solutions, including semantic models, DAX measures, and paginated reports.
• Develop Power Apps portals and applications to modernize self-service data-access experiences.
• Connect and integrate data from Oracle and SQL Server data sources, ensuring optimal performance and query accuracy.
• Build automated reporting workflows and delivery processes using Power Automate flows.
• Contribute to the integration of AI-based and conversational analytics tools like Copilot Studio, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Serve as an informal technical guide and resource for peer troubleshooting and team learning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing in Microsoft Power BI (DAX, semantic models, paginated reports).
• Strong expertise writing and optimizing SQL queries within Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Demonstrated track record of migrating legacy reporting platforms to modern BI architectures.
• Ability to work hybrid 3 days/week on-site at the Atlanta, GA location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate development.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Previous experience in financial services, banking, or payments industries.

Pay

$42.51 - 52.51 per hour
