Analytics and Reporting Consultant

About the role

This position is responsible for creating reports, insights, and analytics in support of the division. Key activities include:

• Creating specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs.
• Providing consultation to users and leading cross-functional teams to address divisional issues.
• Producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
• Performing research and assisting in analyzing data related to the division’s strategic initiatives and broader research needs.
• Interfacing between the business and divisional data teams to generate actionable tools for analysis and reporting.
• Building relationships with customers while deepening understanding of the division’s data to meet business needs.
• Analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insights to decision-makers.
• Identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action OR 9 years of analytical experience in relationship management or driving analytics insights into action.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements in support of information-related strategies.
• Experience solving complex problems and applying new perspectives using existing solutions.
• Knowledge of software development processes, including SDLC, Agile methodologies, and related tools and technologies.
• Experience creating and conducting presentations to inform and influence.
• Experience leading functional teams and projects.
• Proficiency with analytical tools such as SAS, SPSS, R, MATLAB, SQL, Python, etc.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• PC proficiency with Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or mathematics.
• Master’s degree.
• Healthcare experience in business development, business analytics, or innovation management.

Pay

Compensation range: $84,400.00 - $152,300.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
