Data Analytics Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Analytics Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, creating visualizations, and providing insights to support business objectives. This role requires proficiency in data querying, analysis, and reporting tools to translate complex data sets into actionable information.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute queries in Databricks to extract and manipulate data.
• Create and manage data visualizations and reports in Power BI, connected directly to the Databricks catalog.
• Calculate essential metrics, including average means, from various data sources.
• Join and integrate data from multiple sources to perform comprehensive calculations and analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python or SQL.
  • Experience writing queries in Databricks.
  • Demonstrated ability to create data visualizations in Power BI.
  • Capability to connect Power BI directly to the Databricks catalog and queries.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building Genie Rooms, applications, and visualizations within Databricks.
