About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to transform business data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Excel, Power BI, data visualization, reporting, and business analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data.
- Build interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Use advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools.
- Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within datasets.
- Develop recurring and ad-hoc reports for business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful analytical solutions.
- Validate data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Collaborate with business, product, finance, operations, and technology teams.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 2–6 years of professional Data Analyst experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Able to translate business questions into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power Query and DAX.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics best practices.
