CenterWell Pharmacy, a Humana company, is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services through innovative pharmacy solutions. As part of Humana’s extensive healthcare ecosystem, CenterWell Pharmacy focuses on improving patient outcomes by providing personalized medication management and comprehensive support. The organization values diversity, inclusion, and a collaborative work environment, aiming to make a meaningful difference in the lives of its members and communities.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst specializing in Workforce Planning to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and refining the capacity planning processes that ensure our pharmacy operations are optimally staffed to meet demand. Your expertise will help shape long-term forecasts, mid-term staffing strategies, and short-term operational plans, directly impacting service levels and operational efficiency.

This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a foundational team where architecture, metrics, and tooling are still being defined, allowing you to influence and build the core of our workforce planning function. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and leadership to translate complex, multi-source operational data into actionable insights. You will develop data products, dashboards, and tools that empower decision-makers to evaluate performance, forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and cost drivers. Whether focusing on data engineering or business intelligence, your work will be critical in establishing robust, scalable planning processes that support the organization’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Convert complex, multi-source operational data into meaningful planning inputs for business decision-making
  • Partner with operations, finance, and leadership teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, models, and tools that support workforce and capacity planning
  • Implement rigorous measurement practices for forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and cost analysis
  • Build and enhance dashboards, self-service tools, and KPI frameworks to enable operational leaders to make informed decisions
  • Own the development of data architecture or business intelligence solutions, depending on focus area
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve data quality, processes, and insights
  • Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and trends related to data analytics and workforce planning

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, or a planning and forecasting function
  • Advanced SQL skills — ability to write, tune, and debug complex queries against large datasets
  • Proven experience transforming data into actionable insights used for decision-making
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline
  • Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines in cloud environments such as Azure, Snowflake, or Databricks
  • Fluency in Python and knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse design
  • Strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, with experience building KPI frameworks and dashboards
  • Experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, or supply chain forecasting (preferred)
  • Healthcare, pharmacy, or regulated industry experience (preferred)

Benefits

  • Competitive salary aligned with experience and geographic location
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match
  • Paid time off, holidays, and leave policies including parental and caregiver leave
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • Life insurance coverage
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth
  • Remote work environment with flexible scheduling options
