Sr. Data Analyst
About the role
Neos is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a long-term contract role with our client in Austin, TX. This is a hybrid position, with 3 days remote and 2 days (Mondays and Thursdays) required onsite in Austin, TX 78751. Only candidates currently residing in the Austin, TX area (within 50 miles) will be considered.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for business and data analysis, including leading Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and analytical findings. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex queries and joins, perform data quality analysis, and translate business needs into actionable insights. Experience designing dashboards, KPIs, and performance measures to support data-driven decision-making is required.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in IT, supporting the design, development, or delivery of technology solutions
- 8 years of experience with Integrated Eligibility systems, including full SDLC involvement (requirements through implementation)
- 8 years of experience in business analysis and data analysis
- 8 years of experience conducting JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and data analysis findings
- 8 years of experience using SQL, including the ability to create and execute complex joins
- 8 years of experience analyzing data quality
- 8 years of experience designing dashboards, including measures and KPIs
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include 4 years of experience with the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS).
