About The Role The Data Analyst role at Guidehouse is a critical position within the Data Science Consulting team, responsible for supporting data-driven decision-making processes across various projects. The successful candidate will collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights. This role involves developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and related Microsoft Power Platform tools, as well as building and supporting Power Apps solutions to streamline workflows and improve data collection. The analyst will automate recurring processes using Power Automate and work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, define key metrics, and translate business needs into effective analytical solutions. Monitoring data quality, identifying trends, and documenting processes are essential aspects of this role to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating across teams to deliver accurate, timely, and impactful analytics solutions that support operational and strategic initiatives. Qualifications An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.Bachelor's Degree; or FOUR (4) years of additional professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.Minimum ONE (1) year of experience working as a data analyst, business analyst, or in a similar role supporting reporting and analytics.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience working with data in Excel, SharePoint, SQL, or other relational data sources. Responsibilities Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support business, operational, and reporting needs.Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and related Microsoft Power Platform tools.Build and support Power Apps solutions to streamline workflows, improve data capture, and enhance user experience.Automate recurring processes and data-driven workflows using Power Automate and other low-code tools.Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements, define metrics, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.Monitor data quality, identify trends, and provide insights that support decision-making and operational improvement.Document data processes, report logic, and application functionality to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.Work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable analytics solutions.
