About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst specialized in cybersecurity training ROI analysis to join our remote team, preferably based on the US East Coast. In this role, you will be instrumental in demonstrating the value of our training platform to key client relationships through data-driven insights. You will utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools to analyze complex datasets, uncover trends, and build compelling stories that highlight the impact of cybersecurity training on reducing human risk and enhancing organizational security. Your insights will directly influence strategic decisions, optimize training curricula, and support executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in SQL or Snowflake for querying complex relational databases
• Strong experience with Python for data cleaning, automation, and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools for creating executive dashboards and operational reports
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership
• Proven experience in building compelling slide decks that tell a cohesive story
• Experience managing stakeholder expectations and navigating diverse client needs
• Understanding of client success metrics such as churn, adoption, engagement funnels, and learning metrics
• Familiarity with the ed-tech industry is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with strong time management skills

Responsibilities

• Use data analytics to demonstrate the ROI of the cybersecurity training platform for key client relationships
• Navigate and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to assess training impact on human risk reduction
• Translate business requirements from senior leadership into technical data solutions and models
• Create ROI models and compelling data stories for executive stakeholders
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze datasets to identify correlations between training engagement and security incident reduction
• Build interactive dashboards and reports using Looker, Tableau, Power BI to visualize performance metrics and ROI
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on user behavior and simulation logs to identify high-risk cohorts
• Provide tailored recommendations to clients on optimizing training curricula based on engagement and risk metrics
• Maintain data hygiene by auditing training logs and ensuring accurate flow from platform to reporting layers
• Utilize Excel for rapid prototyping of financial models and ad-hoc risk assessments
• Lead executive business reviews by presenting insights and the security evolution narrative
• Collaborate with internal product and data engineering teams to ensure telemetry supports evolving reporting needs

• Base Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000
