Data Analyst - No Remote

Description Summary

METRO RTA is searching for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team and drive data-driven decision making throughout the organization.

Role And Responsibilities

• Source, clean, and transform large datasets from internal and external sources
• Create data visualizations and reports to communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences
• Independently complete data analysis projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with various departments to improve transit efficiency through data analysis
• Create data sets for submission to external audiences on a regular and as-needed basis

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear and concise narratives for diverse audiences
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant data analysis tools and techniques

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Public Transportation Industry Experience
• Relevant Degree or Professional Certification
