Data Analyst II

About the role

The position serves as the primary point of contact for business reporting needs across various functions. Key responsibilities include developing and automating BI and analytical reports, gathering functional requirements, interpreting business data, providing data-driven analysis, and communicating findings to all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate reports for BI and analytical needs of stakeholders
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish metrics for business monitoring
• Gather functional requirements and work with product and engineering teams to deliver business metrics
• Interpret business data and analyze results to provide ongoing reports
• Provide data-driven analysis to support key decision-making
• Review data science models and convert them into reports
• Communicate findings regularly to all levels of business and management
• Help train internal and external stakeholders in reporting tools and analyzing results
• Set standards for data management and conceive projects to eliminate gaps between current and future goals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, or a relevant technical field. Advanced degrees preferred.
• 3 years of experience with SQL for data analysis. Familiarity with other programming languages is a plus.
• 2 years of experience with MicroStrategy reports and dashboards, and with MicroStrategy architecture. Experience with other Business Intelligence (BI) tools may be considered.
• Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and translating technical content to a general audience.
• Understanding of Data Management and the data lifecycle.
• Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and tools and flexibility to take on multiple responsibilities.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Base Salary Range

$88,300 - $114,000 USD
