About the Role

Charlotte Radiology is a trusted industry leader in clinical imaging services and patient care, serving the NC/SC area with advanced technology, 40+ locations, and 500+ team members. This role supports outpatient service lines through data collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting to drive strategic planning, operational efficiency, and growth. The Data Analyst partners with operations leadership to provide actionable insights and serves as a key resource for monitoring performance metrics and translating data into business recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring operational reports and dashboards.
  • Design and enhance dashboards for outpatient service lines (Breast Services, Carolinas Imaging Services, and Vein Services).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to volume, access, utilization, productivity, patient experience, and financial performance.
  • Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Support data governance efforts and maintain reporting documentation.
  • Partner with outpatient operations leaders to identify reporting needs and develop meaningful metrics.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to evaluate operational performance and support business decisions.
  • Support operational initiatives through data collection, tracking, and outcome measurement.
  • Evaluate the impacts of process changes and pilot programs through data-driven analysis.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into concise and actionable business insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in healthcare analytics, business intelligence, operations analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
  • Healthcare, physician practice, radiology, imaging center, or outpatient operations experience preferred.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based server operating systems.
  • Proficiency with data visualization software (Power BI and/or Tableau).
  • Proficiency in writing SQL to query tables, views, and review stored procedures.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable dashboard or report tasks.
  • Strong systems thinking and understanding of data flow across applications.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily sitting.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Office environment with occasional after-hours or weekend work.
  • Some local travel when required.
