Responsibilities
- Perform data review and reconciliation of patient financial accounts.
- Timely insurance billing navigation across multiple hospital and patient financial management systems.
- Conduct business analysis of vendor services outcomes and apply findings to client billing processes.
- Audit performance updates and issue support to the Client Services team for multiple healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience in reconciliation, accounting, or financial analysis.
- Experience with billing systems such as HealthQuest, Paragon, Optimum, Epic, Star, Cerner, and Meditech.
- Knowledge of health insurance eligibility and billing, specifically Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS, and commercial insurers.
- General accounting experience including accounts payable, receivables, and billing.
- Strong business and data (financial) analysis, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with strict adherence to timelines and deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
