About the Role

As a business unit of IDEX Corporation, IDEX Health & Science (IH&S) drives growth in life sciences and healthcare through innovation. This role plays a critical role in advancing IH&S’s finance data transformation initiatives by developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, enabling standardized financial reporting, and translating complex financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready insights. The position supports forecasting, KPI tracking, and executive-level performance visibility while contributing to scalable data models and Agile-driven enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Build data models and create processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to finance leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, IT, and Operations teams to ensure data consistency and alignment between tools used for financial reporting and business performance monitoring.
• Maintain and prioritize reporting and analytics backlogs using the Agile framework.
• Support executive-level reporting by creating clear, concise, and visually compelling dashboards and summaries.
• Contribute to finance and business transformation initiatives, including automation of reporting processes and improvement of data accessibility and usability.
• Develop financial KPI calculation logic and Power BI visuals for leadership consumption.
• Support standardized reporting frameworks and ongoing transformation initiatives related to forecasting, reporting standardization, and data governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with an emphasis in quantitative methods, statistical modeling, and data science.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics roles in a manufacturing financial environment.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting concepts, including financial reporting, cost accounting, FP&A, and KPI development.
• Experience with ERP software; proficiency in JD Edwards is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, particularly outside traditional software design, is ideal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.
• Attention to detail, with consistent use of audit trails, versioning, and documented best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

Location

This is a remote role, but candidates should reside within reasonable proximity to an IDEX Health & Science (IH&S) location. Occasional on-site collaboration, training, or team events may be required.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $78,200–$117,200, with an anticipated hiring range of $90,000–$105,000 based on experience and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for a performance-based bonus plan.
