About the role
As an Entry Level Data Analyst, you’ll work with cross-functional teams to prepare, analyze, and interpret data that shapes business decisions and solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern analytics tools and technology-enabled workflows, building strong foundations in data analysis, visualization, problem-solving, and responsible data practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of your client’s industry, organization, customers, and business objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and teammates by asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and clarifying business needs.
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business questions and needs into analytical approaches and solutions.
- Apply foundational analytical techniques to identify trends, compare results, test assumptions, and draw meaningful conclusions from data.
- Collect, prepare, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that help answer client questions and inform decisions.
- Support the development of reports, dashboards, visualizations, and other data-driven solutions that turn information into meaningful insights.
- Communicate findings and insights clearly through data storytelling and visualizations that technical and non-technical audiences can understand.
- Use modern and AI-enabled tools to support data preparation, exploration, analysis, visualization, and insight generation.
- Apply responsible AI practices by considering privacy, security, data quality, transparency, and appropriate human oversight when using AI-enabled tools.
- Support data quality, validation, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement activities throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future employer sponsorship.
- Certain positions may also require U.S. Citizenship and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance based on client or government requirements.
- Curiosity, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity and complex information.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify and explain complex ideas.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with fast-paced cross-functional teams.
- Foundational proficiency in data analysis concepts and techniques, including data preparation, exploration, visualization, and interpretation.
- Foundational proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies such as SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau), and/or programming languages used for data analysis (e.g., Python or R).
- Exposure to data analysis through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects is preferred but not required.
- Foundational understanding of data/AI engineering and analysis concepts and technologies, such as object-oriented programming, artificial intelligence and machine learning, APIs, testing, version control, and the software development lifecycle.
- Interest in learning and responsibly using AI-enabled tools, analytics platforms, and modern data technologies to support data-driven decision-making.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $58,000 - $95,700.
