Data Analyst Consultant
About the role
Evaluating processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions (using ESRI and MAVEN Smart Systems)
Leading ongoing reviews of current operations processes and developing optimization strategies
Responding to live requests and events with clients
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Developing visualizations for high priority client needs using mapping and data science tools, all within MAVEN Smart Systems
Performing requirements analysis
Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports and visualizations
Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
Ensuring solutions meet client needs and requirements through internal reviews
Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
Updating, implementing, documenting, and maintaining procedures
Prioritizing initiatives based on client needs and requirements
Managing competing resources and priorities
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- A Bachelor’s degree; FOUR (4) years of military, GIS, or data analysis related equivalent experience may be used in lieu of degree
- THREE (3) or more years' experience in IT or Data Analysis
Qualifications
- AN ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
- Experience with MAVEN Smart Systems or Palantir systems
- Experience using ESRI products and geospatial tools
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) environments and operations
- Experience with transportation management systems
- Experience supporting or delivering large scale IT system deployments
Skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
- Experience with MAVEN Smart Systems or Palantir systems
- Experience using ESRI products and geospatial tools
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) environments and operations
- Experience with transportation management systems
- Experience supporting or delivering large scale IT system deployments
Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $68,000.00-$113,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
