Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Remote Data Analyst to join our team. The Data Analyst will interpret data, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to support business decision-making in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams remotely to understand data needs
• Present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively through virtual meetings and reports
• Identify areas for process improvement and data quality enhancement
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration

Skills

• Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus
• Experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) is preferred
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is preferred
• Understanding of statistical methods and data modeling is preferred
