Data Analyst Claims

This position has a hybrid schedule; you must reside within 25 miles of our Costa Mesa, CA office. You will be asked to come into the office for specific training courses and bi-annual team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop SQL scripts to create data sources for Tableau reports and ad-hoc requests.
• Develop comprehensive forecasting and statistical models.
• Identify trends and perform in-depth analyses to uncover underlying drivers, providing clear, actionable insights to peers, managers, and leadership.
• Design, develop, and deploy various KPIs to track Service Quality, Productivity, Frequency, and Severity.
• Develop reports to track new initiatives, annual performance goals, and provide analysis for recent results.
• Work on multiple projects and ad-hoc requests each week, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and explain challenges impacting deadlines.

Requirements

• Experience in a corporate data or analytics setting.
• Excellent Tableau and SQL skills (certification is a plus).
• Background in statistical mathematics.
• Ability to learn new methodologies, databases, and analytical tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and shift priorities to meet managerial needs.

Pay

The starting pay range for this position is $74,500.00 - $99,500.00. Additionally, full-time positions are eligible to participate in our incentive program based on organizational, team, and personal performance.
