Data Analyst (Business)

About the role
This is a 1-year W-2 contract assignment located in Houston, Texas 77002. The role involves business analysis, project management, process improvement, and technology implementation, with a focus on Salesforce enhancements. You will coordinate with administrators, developers, and partners, and support other technology platforms. No direct reports; you will report to the onsite Manager.
Responsibilities
- Leads discovery sessions to identify needs, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Documents current-state and future-state processes, workflows, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Coordinates with Salesforce and other technology teams to deliver system enhancements.
- Supports user acceptance testing, issue resolution, training, and change management activities.
- Identifies opportunities to use automation, artificial intelligence, and new technologies to improve operations and customer experience.
- Acts as a business analyst and project lead for customer experience, process, and technology improvements.
- Works with partners to identify needs, document and evaluate current processes, recommend improvements, define requirements, and manage projects through implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 11+ years of experience in business process optimization and data governance.
- Experience with Salesforce enhancements and coordination with administrators, developers, and partners.
- Technical skills to support new systems and technology platforms.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence is beneficial.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $40.00/hr. to $45.00/hr., dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
