Data Analyst

About the role

Provide data analysis and management for various COVID Data Dashboard and distribution of COVID data to external entities and the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform data management and analytic tasks
• Research and document technical designs
• Program solutions
• Write and execute unit test plans
• Research, resolve, and test defects
• Provide customer technical support
• Collaborate closely with other team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent from an accredited institution (copy required with proposal)
• At least 6 years of experience with development in medium to large‑scale technical projects, ensuring deliverables and scope are met and documented
• At least 6 years of experience with data analytics including processing, reporting, transformation, and visualization
• Minimum 10+ years overall experience (as indicated)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Python‑based data analytics projects
• 6+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) handling >10 million rows
• 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining data processing and ETL pipelines
• 6+ years of experience developing cloud‑native and hybrid applications using serverless platforms
• 6+ years of experience designing and implementing data visualizations with large datasets (1 million+ records) on platforms such as Tableau
