Responsibilities
- Create and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports that combine Epic data with financial and operational information from connected platforms.
- Work with leaders across finance, operations, and clinical teams to define measurable indicators and track performance in patient services, revenue activity, and resource use.
- Gather, clean, and evaluate large datasets to support forecasting, monthly business reviews, and long-range planning initiatives.
- Present findings in a clear, business-focused format so non-technical stakeholders can understand trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with IT and data governance partners to uphold data accuracy, reporting consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Identify patterns in clinical and administrative workflows and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and support better decision-making.
- Contribute to reporting automation and process enhancements that improve speed, reliability, and access to timely performance data.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics within a healthcare provider, healthcare services, or health technology environment.
- Strong ability to analyze complex information and convert it into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations and financial performance concepts, including revenue cycle activity, payer mix, cost evaluation, and operational metrics.
- Experience using Epic Clarity and related healthcare data sources to support reporting and analysis.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings through concise business narratives and presentations.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, sound prioritization skills, and success managing multiple demands in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SmartSheet; Caboodle and Clarity data modeling certifications are preferred.
Qualifications
Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the role works closely with finance, operations, and clinical stakeholders to improve visibility, planning, and overall effectiveness. Local candidates to the Greater Milwaukee area with Healthcare Epic experience is desired.
