Data Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to help turn business and operational data into clear, actionable insights. In this full-time remote role, you will work with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to analyze data, build reports and dashboards, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.

You will help ensure data is accurate, accessible, and easy to understand while translating complex findings into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Gather, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources
• Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and performance metrics
• Use data to identify trends, gaps, opportunities, and business insights
• Write SQL queries to extract and transform data
• Partner with stakeholders to define reporting needs and measurable KPIs
• Present findings through clear visualizations and concise recommendations
• Support data-quality checks, documentation, and process improvements
• Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and business teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related role
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for analysis, reporting, and data validation
• Experience with a visualization or BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate data findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with cloud data platforms, data warehouses, product analytics, or HR technology is a plus
