About the role
This position is a great entry-level opportunity for future or recent graduates majoring in Computer Science, Statistics, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or related fields. You will gain hands-on, dynamic technology experience working with federal government agencies throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analytics, robotics, and machine learning procedures.
- Apply training in data analytics, robotics, and machine learning.
- Learn new programming languages quickly.
- Demonstrate awareness and knowledge of the Federal Government’s financial and management responsibilities.
- Assist in drafting and preparing project deliverables.
- Work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Balance multiple projects concurrently.
- Utilize technology to share knowledge, develop skills, and continually learn.
- Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the client’s environment.
- Travel opportunities (client-dependent).
Requirements
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in Python, R, SQL, or other programming languages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills.
- Ability to travel at least 25%, barring any travel restrictions.
- Active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship).
- Strong digital dexterity: ability to execute work independently, be agile, and embrace emerging technologies for better business solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting the Department of Navy (DON) or other Defense organizations.
- Experience working with DoN’s War Data Platform (previously Advana).
- Experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools.
Pay
The expected salary range for this position is between $62,000 and $85,000 (base pay only). Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses when applicable.
