Data Analyst

About the role

Improve data usability to support MEDITECH Expanse platform implementation. Ensure high-quality, normalized, and usable data is consistently available to clinicians, data scientists, administrators, and report writers. Bridge technical and clinical gaps by interpreting workflows, aligning data with standards, and supporting terminology normalization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and product owners, subject matter experts in clinical domains, and technical teams to define requirements, develop data models, and participate in terminology normalization.
• Apply healthcare coding knowledge to normalize terminology by creating and maintaining code maps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of experience in a healthcare-related field
• 7+ years of experience in a hospital setting (clinical, Health Information Management, or billing preferred)
• 1+ year(s) of experience in clinical coding preferred
• 1+ year(s) of experience in data and workflow analysis preferred
• 1+ year(s) of experience in EHR maintenance, build or implementation (MEDITECH, EPIC, Cerner preferred)
