The Role Work as an integral part of the Healthcare team, partnering directly with Global Industry Analysts and Portfolio Managers. Translate broad investment questions into testable data science workflows and analytical outputs. Apply AI and agentic tools to streamline research workflows and contribute directly to investment idea generation. Communicate results clearly, including limitations, confidence levels, and interpretation risk. Develop differentiated signals and analytical frameworks from alternative and structured datasets relevant to healthcare investing. Build repeatable tools, screens, and research outputs that can be used across companies and themes within the sector. What You'll Need 3-5+ years of experience in data science, alternative data, investment research, or healthcare analytics. Prior experience working with investment teams, research teams, or senior business stakeholders. Strong Python and SQL skills. Comfort with AI/LLM tooling and agentic workflows. Experience working with large, messy, real-world datasets and evaluating their quality and signal robustness. Genuine investment acumen and curiosity about markets, companies, and how data translates into an investment thesis.
