Data Analyst
Confidential Client (Accounting) is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to join a team supporting U.S. federal government clients. This is a hands-on role well suited to recent graduates or early-career professionals who want practical experience in data analytics, robotics, and machine learning applied to federal finance and management workflows.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analytics tasks, support robotics and machine learning efforts, and apply training to real client problems.
- Write and maintain code in Python, R, SQL or other programming languages to process and analyze data.
- Assist in drafting and preparing project deliverables, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Learn new programming languages, tools, and platforms quickly and apply them to client needs.
- Demonstrate awareness of federal financial and management responsibilities in analyses and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members in both written and oral formats.
- Balance multiple projects and priorities, work collaboratively in teams, and use technology to share knowledge and develop skills.
- Practice professionalism in client environments and adapt to evolving technical and business requirements.
Requirements
- BA/BS from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Python, R, SQL, or comparable programming languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Ability to travel up to approximately 25% (depending on client needs).
- Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance or higher (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI).
- U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting Department of the Navy (DoN) or other Defense organizations.
- Experience with the War Data Platform (formerly Advana).
- Experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control tools.

Pay
Base pay range: $62,000 – $85,000 per year (representative of base pay only; final pay depends on experience, education, location, clearance level, and other permitted factors). Eligibility for bonuses where applicable.
Schedule
- Primary work location: Alexandria, VA. Work location may vary based on client requirements.
- Travel: Up to ~25%, depending on client assignments and travel restrictions.
