You can help make a difference by working with a team of analysts and wider stakeholders to understand what is required to meet the needs of our organisation, while complying with external assurance frameworks and supporting our elected Members with key insights. More importantly, you can help shape the future environment for the team in relation to its analytics capabilities, deploying Power BI reporting to a crucial service area within the Council.
Responsibilities
- Analyse data and disseminate it to a range of stakeholders through visualisation tools like Power BI, presentations, and written reports.
- Manage data reporting environments to support the aspiration to become an intelligence-led organisation.
- Manage multiple projects to demanding timescales while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Experience in analysing data and using visualisation tools such as Power BI.
- Background in managing data reporting environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Ideally, some level of working knowledge of Human Resources in a data context.
- Right to work in the UK that enables commitment to at least 6 months' employment (sponsorship is not available for this role).
- For customer-facing roles, ability to demonstrate confidence in fluent English for all spoken aspects of the role.
