Data Analyst
About the Role
Join Chenega Military, Intelligence & Operations Support (MIOS) as a Data Analyst and support large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology. This role involves analyzing a variety of documents, managing physical and electronic files, and ensuring meticulous organization of case files.
Responsibilities
- Work within the Standard Operating Procedure for the organization of physical files containing documents of various types.
- Establish or maintain physical files, including proper placement of documents as they are created.
- Disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Perform word processing tasks, data entry, and metadata entry for electronic documents.
- Reconcile inconsistencies in files and data.
- Gather information and organize investigative packages, case files, or presentations.
- Obtain additional information from other investigative agencies or databases.
- Verify information and files against the tracking system.
- Maintain internal status information on the disposition of designated information and files.
- Distribute and receive documents.
- Assist analysts or government officials in obtaining or collecting all documents or information to complete case files.
- Provide administrative information and assistance concerning cases or files to other agencies or organizations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have resided in the United States for at least three out of the last five years or worked for the U.S. in a foreign country as either an employee or contractor in a federal or military capacity for at least three of the last five years.
- A valid driver’s license is required; having your own Personally Owned Vehicle (POV) is required.
- Top secret clearance required.
Skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze documents to extract information.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, database, spreadsheet, and telecommunications software.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently, be a self-starter, and complete projects with a team as they arise.
- Attention to detail and the ability to direct the work of others efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work under extreme pressure.
- Ability to work shift work.
- Experience with scanning software.

Pay
Estimated hourly wage: USD $18.33 to $35.41.
