Job Summary
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Aid in the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational data management systems.
- Participate in design, review, testing, and scheduling processes.
- Utilize product data management tools as needed.
- Prepare contract data item submittals to established delivery schedules.
- Independently prepare and submit contract data.
- Review contract data requirements and establish data schedules according to requirements.
- Contribute to the development of systems management plans and procedures.
- Assist in training staff on the use of system management tools.
- May assist with supervising less-experienced team members' work.
- Support the analysis of proposed design changes and recommend improvements.
- Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletions.
- Ensure the quality of imported data and collaborate with the quality assurance analyst if necessary.
- Develop and revise reports and analyses.
- Test and implement new or upgraded software, and assist with strategic decisions on new systems.
- Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
- Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
- Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
- Act as a liaison between functional groups.
Minimum Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Required
- High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant, similar experience.
- General computer skills, including advanced Excel knowledge, Visio, Access, and Report Builder software.
- Understanding of the Development Life Cycle and Release Management.
- Ability to assess system requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
