Responsibilities
- Support engineering teams by transforming raw operational data into reliable reporting and analysis that drives decision-making.
- Work alongside data scientists and software engineers to gather requirements, build and maintain dashboards, and improve the accuracy and consistency of data across multiple systems.
- Scope and level of ownership will be tailored to the candidate's experience.
Qualifications
- A good candidate should have 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role; required experience will scale with the level of the role.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or a related field required. MS preferred.
- Comfort working with messy, real-world data, including cleaning, reconciling, and validating across multiple sources.
- Strong communication skills, able to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and explain findings clearly to mixed audiences.
- Experience mentoring or reviewing the work of others is a plus for more senior candidates.
Technical Expertise
- SQL skills, with the ability to write queries beyond pulling pre-built reports.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas or similar) for data cleaning, transformation, and automation.
- Experience with a BI/visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
Pay
Commensurate with experience.
