About the role
Your creative thinking and problem-solving skills will contribute to identifying and solving complex quality challenges through data mining and optimization. You will actively work with quality issue management and ways to increase Uptime for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform all steps of an analytics assignment, from fundamental to advanced statistical techniques, including data & business value exploration, data structuring, modeling, problem solving, and recommendation within the Quality team.
- Develop and implement methodologies to assist Product Quality Leaders in emerging issue detection, forecasting, and predicting quality & uptime performance.
- Work with various data sources, including but not limited to warranty, logged vehicle, customer data, manufacturing data, and high-resolution truck data.
- Deliver all steps independently while establishing a network and collaborating closely with colleagues in Europe, India, and Brazil on various initiatives.
- Collaborate with other Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Data Scientists during the implementation and deployment of advanced analytics solutions.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent.
- Experience with problem-solving in a technically focused quality organization.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, with solid working knowledge of SQL.
- Hands-on experience with KNIME and Databricks for building data pipelines and analytics workflows.
- Demonstrated experience with relevant technical tools such as Python and/or R, and Jupyter Notebook.
- Exposure to Apache Spark and Azure analytics services (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Data Factory).
- Working knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning concepts (classification, regression, clustering, or anomaly detection), with practical exposure to common algorithms such as K-means, Random Forest, and logistic/linear regression.
- Knowledge of reliability analysis and tools such as ReliaSoft (Weibull analysis, life data analysis, FMEA).
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $50.00 - $55.00 per hour.
